There are quite a few ladies at my gym who squat at the least 185. Seem a few throw up 225+ only 2 (out of like 5 that ive seen) were heavier women. The others were an athletic build. Like they played bball track volley ball or soccer
 
A chick at one of my crossfit boxes recently got a 310lb back squat PR. She built like a tank though.
 
Damn. Maybe I've been living abroad for too long. Women squatting 225+ with depth is common!?!? That's crazy. That seems pretty advanced for most women.

Edit: Just did a quick look at strength level. A 135lb woman, between the ages of 24-39, squatting 225 for 1rm is in the 85th percentile. That's almost equivalent to a 185lb male having a 405lb 1rm squat.

It doesn't hurt when I snatch or clean. Only when I push press. It's the pressing movement where the pain comes from.
