handstands are full body, but a ton of shoulder and core strength and stability. if you wanna get good at it you gotta start spending time upside down. start with wall walks

Dude at my gym is competeing in it so I’ll be checking to see how he does. Super cool dude hope he does well.

Safety bar squats 5x5

Overhead kettle bell walk like 300ft per arm.

Incline db press 5x8

Side lat raise ss with rear delt raise 5x12x12

Pecc decc 5x12

Whole body lifting is still going good. Getting stronger and not overly sore anywhere.

Deadlifted first time in bout a month. Kept it funky 315 5x5. That's as heavy as I'll go, the risk is way higher than the reward for me. Even squats and bench I don't go heavy anymore.

Maaaan same here. Squats and deadlift I don’t risk a thing. The horror stories got me shook. I’m still trying to go big on bench though

I hit my #s goals from when I got back in the gym in 2016. Now i have no desire to go even heavier. I don't compete so what's the point?

Plus ive been thinking a lot about the risk of messing up my back or knees and then I can't work and **** up my $.
 
Ive been doing just the shot and it burns for like a second then i feel a lot better. No stomach aches all day

I’m in the same boat.....I wanted that 1k total and hit that maybe a year ago, stopped caring about going heavy and 1rms at around 1100

Now my workouts are focused around getting more athletic and aesthetic, I’ve lost about 15 lbs and my goals are more to get better at b-ball before I’m fully washed....I still do my compounds but more high rep stuff

for me it gives me energy. idk if its placebo doe bc i remember a while back reading that it helps jumpstart metabolism

It's been a lot of trash talking going on. Phil is coming in smaller this year. I wonder how the judges gauge that when Ramy comes in as big as he is.
 
Use to do the ACV thing but I just dont feel like the prolonged exposure to the acidity isnt good in the long run

For stomach issues, intermittent fasting works well for me.

Bonac is already a tinyer tighter version of Phil. who knows if that heelps unless Phil is just Dry and cut like crazy.

I say watch out for Roelly, def top 5. supposedly Rhoden looks better too. Brand Curry may be top 7

I hope Phil comes ready without the gut. It really stood out last year. And I'm kinda rooting for him a bit more because of the smaller size. Kinda dont want the competition to go the bigger is better route

It seems like Roelly cant crack top 5 to save his life :lol . His arms are crazy tho. I think his lower back is always criticized along with his calfs. And Brandin Curry is definitely on the come up.

Cant stand that mfer. Hope Brandon dethrones Jeremy.

All I really care about is classic though, hope C Bum brings it home, been watching all his stuff on youtube, dude is goals.
 
Mini rant...

If you're new to lifting and see someone walk away from something that is plate loaded for 30 seconds at least ask them before you take it off and put something else on. Cant stand people who do that and do one set then walk away to something else.
