I litteraly have no motivation to go squat.
My max was 365 @163lbs and that was Dec 2016.
Now I can only put up 325.
Been slacking and can’t get motivated to get back into it.
What are y’all sets looking like?
Oh and I use to do high bar.
Working on low bar squats now. Feels like it’s gonna roll down my back lol.
Bruh, you can’t just jump back into heavy and hit close to your old max. You might be just as strong but your cns is gonna freak the hell out.
Hit a 5x5 at the heaviest weight you think you can do the whole way through without changing it.
Next week do 6x3 heavier but same concept
Next week 6x2 heavier
Then the next week see how you do at a max attempt or maybe the heaviest double you can do. QUOTE]
First time doing squats in about two years felt pretty good now I’m just focusing on trying to get perfect form any suggestions?
Question do anyone get marks on the top of there shoulder/trap I noticed it today and when I do shoulders it looks like female scratch marks but I kno they aren’t and kinda have me puzzled.
^This SupremeBeing5 .
Ironically, if mplsdunk could squat low bar comfortably he would already be putting up 405.
I squatted high bar exclusively for my first 8-ish months of lifting until I rolled the bar forward over my neck when trying to max out on two separate occasions.
After that I said 'eff this' and been squatting low bar ever since. 1RM went up like 60 pounds just from that.
Speaking of belts, found this website that lets you customize colors and embroidered messages on your belt. Definitely copping from here sometime soon.
