STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

Lifting to Rufus? 😂

Heavy bass edm for the gym >

Check out dudes like KNOCK2 and ISOXO

That's the new remix album, their remixes always slant way more Melodic House & Techno than the original LP.

Love that genre in the gym, dark, aggressive sounds but clear and focused.

I'll check those dudes out but I'm not a fan of lifting to stuff that's too chaotic or high energy.

CBD cream as part of recovery been one of the better decisions ive made. Apply some after a hot shower and some stretching before bed, wake up brand new.

I am happy you made that decision.

Cannabis infused lotions, teas, and cannabis itself... has been life changing for me in reference to recovery.

I feel like the plant extracts and absorbs any doubts(water, suppressed emotion) that I had about myself prior to completing my workouts... which keeps me loose... pain free... and prepared for the next one.

I’ll check it out for a bike ride

To each their own but I need that chaotic energy for a lift

Especially heavy sets

i’m the weirdo that doesn’t lift with headphones on half the time. when i’m focused during sets i don’t hear it anyways

Same. I pretty much only listen to music during runs.

Always funny to see people searching for that 1 song for their set that takes like 15sec

I'm the same. Headphones only for cardio

I’m the weirdo who does cardio to the same songs every damn day..

Lifting has a group of songs but it’s always the same ones. So they’re all in one playlist and I just pick one and put on repeat depending on mood.

i don’t mind music but i go the opposite route if i actually do have headphones, chill vibes only for the tunes because i pretty much always try to get real calm & zen-like before i lift…finally got the courage to attempt 2 plates on bench press, i don’t really train for it so it’s a good sign of progress

That went up easy bro

This is the beginning of my gym playlist..

Cardio-
I jump rope to 7am
Warm up shadow box to No Friends
The rest is used as I want / need for what I’m doing for cardio. But it’s the same songs every day.

DNA and down (and on) are my lifting songs.
