The College Basketball Post

He contacted Pitt last year during Dixon/USC rumors, and I wouldn't say Pitt is a step down neither has been to a final four in the last 10 years

PITT not a step down...? I think PITT is a solid basketball school...but C'mon man...

Team A: 1 Final Four, 3 Elite Eights, 8 Sweet 16s, 15 All Americans (8 in the 20s/30s)

Team B: 1 Nat'l Championship, 1 Runner-up, 4 Final Fours, 9 Elite Eights, 17 Sweet 16s, 6 All Americans....

Which program is better?

See your like the usual Tar Heel fan here in NC. Y'all have been so spoiled by the previous two coach y'all think y'all are a cream of the crop job(unc is). The fans here consistly wanting Roy head on a stick, but I always ask. Anybody outside of Roy will be a step down.

I like Dixon, I don't want him to leave I'm just saying if Dixon ever leaves we aren't going to just fall off the face the Earth, Pitt will pay for another coach. I didnt say Miller would leave I just said he contacted Pitt about the head coaching position when Dixon was rumored to be taken the USC job

Yeah, there's no way Sean Miller is voluntarily leaving 'Zona for Pitt.

'Zona is the modern day king of the PAC and Pitt will forever be second tier in the ACC.

Lute made that place into a damn factory.

LOL @ leaving beautiful Tucson, Arizona for......Pittsburgh

I didn't see anyone say Ennis is the best freshman PG ever.

I said he's the most poised freshman PG I've ever seen, before he even hit the game winner (2 totally different things).

If anyone disagrees with that, I'd like to hear the challengers.

Who's POY so far?
Dougie Fresh?
I had Nick Johnson but he played terrible in their first loss.

Boeheim is always honest with his guys and the Nba, interesting he thinks Ennis should come back....if your top ten you almost have to go but well see,

Poise isn't a measurable thing but if you want to call him that be my guess. It's a prison of the moment statement based mostly off a lucky *** three. He good no doubt but the superlatives aren't always needed.

Ennis been great in the clutch all season, not just last night.

Hyperbole gonna hyperbole though

I mean, Pitt is his alma mater. Who knows, y'all acting like Zona had their pick of the litter and chose Miller.

He came to Arizona from Xavier, which isn't exactly a basketball power. He was a young rising star in the game. Mark Few turned it down if I remember correctly, along with a few other guys.

Uk getting coach cal is proably the last time in both bball and football ball a school got there 1st choice.

zona to pitt is a clear step down.xavier to zona is a clear step up.

Jahii Carson ann

And Cal said if UK wasn't open he would have gone to Zona if I remember correctly.

Enis has been clutch but if you think he possesses a magic clutch gene then those numbers will come even out. He's definitely a cool camper though, no denying that. No rattle.

It may be a step down, but no one would look at him like a fool if he went to Pitt from Zona if the money was right. He played at the school and has strong east coast ties. He's put together a hell of a staff and is a well liked coach by all accounts. I'm sure he could do better at Pitt than Dixon is currently doing.

Zona and Pitt are both jobs that are made by the coach. UK got their first choice coach because they are in a different tier than Zona. Kansas, UNC, UK are schools that no one is turning down regardless if they want you.
