The College Basketball Post

U guys were also the number 1 team and are now 25, so...

right, based on total guesses, for the second year in a row. voters actually had something to go on ranking OSU and MSU (who actually got a lot of first place votes)

but like I said, it comes with the territory so it is what it is. not that UK hasn't been very disappointing... just makes it seem extremely worse based on that ranking.

this season's gonna define the recruiting class whether it should or shouldn't, but 5 guys from the class will be back.

I'm not a huge Craft fan either, just think he's a really good point guard who would help out a talented team a lot.

Imagine Craft on UK or another really talented team...all he'd have to do is distribute the ball and take care of it, which he can do.

Discussed Cal on PTI,Wilbon says he's gone after this season..Thoughts? Besides the "challenge" of coaching in the League, why would he bolt for the NBA?

he has a very high turnover rate. 3 turnovers on 5 assists? and he can't shoot from 3?

I don't see how that makes KU better or UK for that matter.

a Kendall Marshall type or Kevin Pangos more what I meant.

if guys say that every year, they'll eventually be right.

Craft's veteran leadership, even though I feel that's an extremely overrated attribute, but still needed, would definitely help UK a little. but again, like Wiltjer, not a huge difference maker.

is UK beating Florida with Craft? doubtful

are they losing to South Carolina with Craft? doubtful

Cal will only leave for the right situation and I don't really see one in the NBA right now.

It's 8 million a year or nothing and only the Knicks are giving him that

When you're constantly handling the ball on a team that isn't talented then you're gonna have more TOs than you would on a team that is talented....Craft not being able to shoot from 3 wouldn't be an issue if he played for KU (a bit more if he played for UK).

Just don't see how it'd hurt KU/UK...a guy that can handle the basketball to get it to the playmakers? Watch Craft in 2012 when he played with Sullinger and Thomas.

Not a chance he would leave...

Elite 8, Final 4, National Championship....teams like he has had the past two years are going to struggle...next year if Harrison (one or both) come back, along with Poythress, he'd actually have an "experienced" team by his standards.

Marcus Foster has quietly be been most consistent freshman in the Big 12. Too bad the Wiggins and Embiid hype have somewhat overshadowed his freshman campaign.

his ast turnover been bad his whole career, he's just not really a pure pg other than to dribble the ball up the court and throw a post entry pass.

8 mil. would make him the highest paid Coach in the league I think..On the Knicks situation I seen this on another forum "Why would Cal go to the Knicks and trade one set of underachieving divas for another that he has even less control of" I laughed....

He's already getting 5-6 on UK and he walks on water there so I don't see the incentive to leave.

NY will offer but their roster/owner situation is nothing I would wanna be involved in if I'm Cal

He just needs to get a PG transfer who isn't Ryan Harrow and flourish

Michigan would actually benefit from a guy like Craft. They have enough offense, they could use a guy that could get them stops, but that coincides with what everyone is saying about getting him on a talented team.

He makes 5.2 plus incentives and endorses everything here in KY,I cant drive a few blocks with out seeing him on at least 5 billboards...I'm hopeful on Ulis in the PG situation especially if he gets a year of experience playing off the bench behind Harrison.

He's not going to be anything in the NBA but he's a really good college basketball point guard when he has talent around him.
When? Not good from 3? Doesn't create scoring opportunities for his guys? He was chided for his defense, which was mostly brutal handchecking, and he also happened to hit a few big shots. He never was a really good player. He was a steady guy on some pretty good teams. That's about it.

Don't understand how in the hell Kansas is better with Craft than Wiggins.

K has Ulis coming in next year, so hopefully the PG position there is stable for the next 4 years.

McConnell has been the difference maker for Zona this season IMO

The cbs podcast guys were talking today about who would you take in a Wichita/UK 1vs8/9 game. Really got me thinking. Fwiw they said that Wichita would handle them

I really like this kid, but really he is the engine for that team so naturally he can show out more. He's certainly been under the radar though, seems like we don't talk about him that much.
