The College Basketball Post

Unreal performance from Gillon. Wow. Thought the game was over being down 16. Stunned.

What a game!

I'm proud of cuse for not calling it quits down 16. Even though they're not that good I hope they can make some noise in the ACC and sneak into the tourney

Any chance Calipari is on the hot seat in Lexington?  I remember when he first got the job they were saying he was going to win multiple titles within a decade like the basketball version of Saban

This might be the only thing as bad as your takes on Dragan Bender last year.

I said it after the UK game but I love Josh Jackson's game. Kid is a ball gamer and stat sheet stuffer (including 5 TO's). His jump shot is going to come with time and reps and when it does...:smokin

Baylor - sheez does that team have length. Reminds me of the older Cuse back lines. Thought they went away from Motley in the second half. That rematch in Waco is going to be tough.

Motley didn't get nearly the amount of touches in the 2nd half that he should have.

Kansas' rotation getting smaller by the game and will eventually catch up to them. Starters playing entirely too many minutes. They'll be running on fumes come March.

What kinda league Zion play in?

That **** don't even look like varsity where I'm from :lol.

Kid is the goods though. I'd like to see him play with AND against elite talent at this level to get a feel of where he's really at.

Those boys were frail and scared :x. Gym was lit though :hat :lol

B-I-N-G-O. Think some of that goes to Self, some of it should be blamed on Drew/Baylor.

Agreed.

Overall, great game. Fun game to watch. Bill Self's last two games have been very very impressive to me. Halftime adjustments to shut down Monk and then Motley, very short bench (with not very much talent on that bench), drawing up great plays out of TOs when a bucket is needed, etc.

One huge play that I thought went a bit unnoticed was Landen Lucas getting back to alter Wainwright's shot in the final 20 seconds when Baylor could've taken the lead. Mitch Lightfoot even provided some great minutes.

Baylor is really good. I thought they played really well last night. Their length is incredible. Motley is great, Big Jo is great, Lecomte is really good...

Oh, and remember when everyone said Josh Jackson was making a mistake by going to KU because Self wouldn't let him get to his ceiling? Yeahhhh....has definitely improved his shooting and has scored 20+ the last three games.

One more note...Scott Drew now has more Ls in Allen Fieldhouse than Bill Self does...(which, to be honest, I think is a testament to Drew because he's been around long enough to play inside AFH that many times.)

RCJH.

Bruh playing against a lot of barely 6 foot white kids who look scared for their lives out there. :lol

But like I said, whenever he has played elite talent on the summer circuit of camps, he's dominated just the same.

He killed Adidas Nations while being the youngest player there.

Killed the NBA top 100 camp and won MVP.

He's the goods, their just aren't many people on this earth that are 6'7, 240 at 16 years old with a father who has a D1 football player and a mother who was a D1 high jumper.

He was born to be an athlete.

Each SEC school to receive 40.4 million from revenue sharing,up from 31.2 million last year.Them UK bags about to get heavier :smokin
