Anybody think Zona loses Simmons or Alkins to the draft ?

I haven't seen Arizona play much this season, but I see they made the list for Trevon Duval

I haven't seen Arizona play much this season, but I see they made the list for Trevon Duval

Both are really good players, but very end of first/early 2nd seems like the ceiling for them in this draft. Simmons seems like the one that would likely be picked higher, IMO.

Regarding Duval, I don't quite see how he would choose them unless there was some movement. Kadeem Allen is going to be graduating, so that opens up a spot, but they could still return Simmons, Alkins and Trier. Simmons or Alkins would have to come off bench if Duval were to come, and I don't know if that's something they'd be excited about.

They would be absolutely stacked next year though if they could get Duval and Ayton and have both of them actually qualify.

Nah. It'll be Duke.

KU now needs Graham to come back next year (I say it's 50/50 right now) to feel comfortable at the PG position. Malik Newman will be in the "recruiting class" which is nice and then Marcus Garrett is coming as well. 

Other guard spots are in the air a bit too...Svi coming back? Not sure. Vick will be back. Sam Cunliffe, ASU transfer, will be available at the turn of the semester.

Bigs will be Udoka, Bragg (most likely, unless Self kicks him out a la Brannen Greene) and Billy Preston.

Think its time for k to bring allen off the bench...dont know if hes injured but frank deserves the start..need more firepower off the bench anyway..that drive and kick out for a turnover is happening way too much

Yep. Just fine with him playing the team game and providing a veteran on the floor.

John Collins is the best player in the nation that no one talks about. Kid is gonna end up going in the lottery this season
