We all know you can pay a franchise QB big money and still compete. Just look at Russ, Rodgers and Jimmy G this past year of guys who took their teams to the playoffs and one who almost won it all. Please believe Mahomes will be getting a record breaking deal coming up and the Chiefs will need to make major changes. Of course some teams will look bad for throwing the bag at QB's who greatly under-perform or just aren't that good (Stafford, Carr). But in today's NFL if you draft well and get good value on some free agents you'll most likely be in contention with a solid QB around them.

In the words of Travis Kelce, “my guy, Andy Reid” was rocking AF1s in training camp last year but I didn’t realize he was wearing a SMU pair for the Super Bowl. I want to say I saw a video from last year were he commented he switched to AF1s because they were ‘more comfortable’. All the more reason to love Big Red.
