Honestly if I’m LA/Bron, unless there is some team desperate for a big name or foolish enough to trade for Rust, it’s probably best to just rock with this squad. As bad as they look, their payroll is probably worse.

Any package of THT + any combination of those other contracts isn’t getting anything in return that will improve this roster. Minus whale wait till Street Clothes comes back, wish for the best and pray for health going into the play-in.

I honestly don't think Pelinka/LeBron thought hard enough about the ramifications of the trade. They had to hit on at least four vet minimum players for two consecutive seasons. That is insane.

Melo and Monk have earned their keep, and Dwight to a lesser extent. Everybody else is either too washed or limited.
