 ...the hottest final since 1976 apparently.

Wow. I mean, 80 degrees in England is like 110 in the United States anyways lol

Now that's crazy-hot!  Plus it's probably more humid in the UK?  I don't think I've ever seen players use an ice-bag at Wimbledon during the change-overs!

Yes, sir.  Despite all the upsets, there was still a lot of good tennis.  Sure, the mens and ladies finals were below-par, but Djo/Delpo was awesome, as was Lisicki/Rad.  Great to see 2 new Wimbledon winners too.

Yea he's in the books, god level in the UK & Scotland even if he never wins again.

It's not even about being retired - Bradley Wiggins got a Knighthood last year after winning the Tour de France and the Olympic time trial - what Andy has done is at least as good.

But, they normally have a rule where you don't get another honour within something like 5 years - and he got a MBE or OBE not long ago.

Not a hard and fast rule though so I would imagine they'll bend it.

She was with Michael Joyce for around the same time too. Jimmy Connors worked with Andy too and it didn't work. Maria has a very one dimensional game and she rarely if ever makes adjustments. Thomas is a great tactical coach and IMO there is no way she has a French Open title without him. It will be exciting to see Jimmy and Maria together. I don't think it will last very long because of their respective personalities. Get your popcorn ready.
