It's been bothering her for a while, but thought that she was over/recovered from it.  Damn shame... making Serena's path ever more easier. 

She's probably done for 2013 if it's an ongoing problem.

Yeah she'll probably be out for a good while now, shoulder bursitis is no joke, took me 3 months of physio before I could even raise my hand above my head comfortably. Obviously she'll have access to the best specialists available but even so, that sh** is painful. Poor little Masha.

Hard to explain in words P but it's basically like right inside the center, if you can imagine where your socket is. It's like a permanently numb pain even when you're completely still, then when you move even in the slightest, it's razor sharp agony.

Definitely one of the worst pains I've ever had, would rather deal with a broken bone or regular muscle strain any day of the week.

Maria isn't a threat to Serena, Vika is though. Vika is the better player between her and Maria.

IMO this is the deepest men's field we've seen in years. Rafa may be the slight favorite, but guys like Del Po, Nole, and Murray may have something to say about who wins this tournament. On the women's side, I'm expecting a Serena/Vika final and if that match is anything like their match from a few weeks back or last year, we are in for a treat.

Del Po really showed me something at Wimby, that semi between him and Djoka was one of the best matches I've seen in a couple years. He wasn't even healthy and he was balling like a fool.

He's my sleeper for the Open but I'm riding with my guy Nole of course

Sabine's focus is so bad, this is why it can get so frustrating watching her, she was cruising through that 2nd set until a squirrel came on court, it distracted her and she lost the next 3 games in a row.

Ha. That's funny. Her feet do look nice from the pics posted but so does the rest of her body. Sad to see her lose yesterday when she had the lead. Wanted to wrap my arms around her when she started to cry.

I'll have tickets for this Friday and was confused as to whether I will be able to bring my camera (dslr). Their website states no professional recording equipment or video cameras, or any recording devices. Please respond.

Well, just by looking at the crowd, there are lots of people with their cameras (hand-held and DSLRs), so for sure people have gotten them in there. I guess it's one of those grey-area rules cuz they obviously don't people recording full videos of their matches.  I *think* it should be ok. What lens are you gonna bring?

Yeah, Genie's definitely one of the fresh faces of the WTA... unfortunately, her game, like a lot of the others, just isn't consistent enough.
