Yooo, Kanye on Sway in the Morning. (updated)

Y'all got your demographics mixed up.

Like steezy said, for the DMX type dudes who are going to wear what they wear and don't give a damn about "trends" or what's "in style", then of course Timbs never left.

But it did not become "trendy" or whatever to wear Timbs year round again until a few years ago . . . I can't even put a direct date on it . . . I remember starting to see them EVERYWHERE again like 2011-2012. And before that like bruh said, he was on the red carpet with the bottle, Timbs and yambs in that classic picture

. Can't even directly attribute it to just Kanye.

People (again, not talking about the DMX types with Timbs in every color of the rainbow
laugh.gif
) definitely were not rocking black timbs like that until the Jay and Hov all black steez, and to a lesser extent Rocky.

All white forces have never left the hood but, again, it was not "trendy" to rock those ugly *** high top all white Forces and especially not to rock them dirty like dudes are doing
sick.gif
Dudes out here looking like they smell like old cheese. Then again, you got dudes in the "differences between men and women" thread talking about they take three minute showers 3 to 5 times a week, saying their body cleans itself like they got superhero powers or some **** so maybe I'm trippin lol.

Anyways, if you don't consider yourself to follow trends then say that, that's fine, I wear what I like . . . but don't discredit the influence that he has over a certain portion of the population because YOU don't think it's valid.

I'm naturally clean, 3-5 showers is all I need anymore than that is excessive unless I've been to the gym or sporting.

ksteezy is just referring to the dressing better thread and the hypebeast thread...kanye made timbs pop in those threads.

Son, the video is so much better. He has a tick almost. Hahahahaha. The first few seconds of him exploding is gold

lol i like how his voice is so deep and manly on here, yet he sounded like he had just been neutered on kims moms show.

kanye brought back walking, dudes weren't walking till they saw yeezy do it.

The only trend I see that Kanye made signature/popularized are the shutter shades that's all which was wack anyways.
Streetwear has been around forever in hip hop. Watch pharcyde yo mama video they have Fresh Jive all over (LA houser style)
Even verses from das Efx talks about gucci to stussy.
Real Lo life's know Kanyes fake.
He's just a hypebeast and a trend hopper with money.

You can say that any city is late on anything though. Florida was late on Things(but not everything) Not Miami anyways, idk about the upper parts.Maybe it was the footlocker you went to didn't sell the foams but before 2010 foams were selling in FL but if Florida is late on everything, the whole United States is late on "fashion" compared to other countries like Europe

I've lived in FL my entire life, Fort Lauderdale to be exact, besides Shoe Gallery (Miami) no other stores in Florida were getting Foamposites until after 2010. I remember foamposite max's being at Footlocker in 1998, but no pro's or foam ones (01'-03') retros. Hell, not even Flightposite I, II, or III. Florida is the epitome of being behind on certain fashions. I've seen, and lived it for 25 years. Miami is the way it is because of European tourist, snowbirds, New Yorkers, etc. Miami is a cultural epicenter. Locals don't even really shop there. Same with Broward, and Boca Raton. They're familiar with your basic Gucci, LV, Prada, Nike, etc. etc, but they don't know about other brands from Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, or brands that are not household names.

I never used to eat breakfast until I saw Kayne eating some over easy's and sausage links

Let me put on some timbs cause I seen a picture of him walking out a store with Kim K, and he had the shoe strings untied a little bit, but they were still sort of tied.

I can pull that off cause Ye is my idol.

Hearing Kanye do that "freestyle" at the end was like when I saw Charles Barkleys fat *** air-ball a layup a few years ago...it was like dude had never rapped a day in his life... :rollin And this is a creative GENIUS?! :rollin

My nephew could freestyle better and he's 4-years old :rollin

Ya'll FL dudes talking about Foams... You do realize Penny played in Orlando right? Pretty sure y'all weren't the first to be up on it in your state...

When it comes to sneakers NOTHING endorses kicks more than the endorsers exploits on da court b

Sway is more hip hop than Kanye IMO. Those of you who are old enough to remember the golden age of hip hop in the 90s that live in Cali know what I'm talking about. The wake up show!!!! Sway and Tech. A staple in 90s hip hop ask Eminem.
Dude is a icon hands down.
