A couple of my boys gamble on a regular basis at the local casino. I rolled with them the other night and I witnessed them each lose 200-300 dollars each. I was tripping on how casual they were about losing that kinda cash. Im not in a position to lose 300 dollars and be ok with it. As a person who doesnt gamble, I was curious about why they gambled every week. They both pretty much said the same thing about them winning on other days big enough to make it worth the days that they dont win. One of em even said that they use a % of what they make at their job specifically for gambling and that he considers that part of his income.
I dont know much about the gambling world but i was under the impression that people generally lose more than they win if hey gamble over extended periods of time.
Anyone here have any input on personal history of you or your friends gambling habits? Im very curious about peoples motives when it comes to "serious" gambling.
Thanks
