TPAB operated on a completely differently frequency that what popular music has been on for about 10 years now. 

That alone makes it extremely polarizing. It's more of a cult classic than anything else in recent memory.

Kendrick is an amazing rapper/lyricist. Unfortunately, that doesnt automatically make every song/album he puts out great. Great lyrics dont necessarily mean great music.

I like blueprint better then rd. Rd is more raw and I love it but I never liked Jayz till I heard the blueprint. Then after American gangster. I used to be a Jayz stan.
