National Security Advisor Michael Flynn says U.S. "condemns" recent actions by Iran: "As of today, we are officially putting Iran on notice"pic.twitter.com/eSV25up0dA

Yeah we are going to war with them
Millitary industry complex back at it again

Iran would be Iraq on steroids and I doubt Russia would let their biggest ally in the region get tag teamed by the US,Israel and the Sunni gulf states.

BREAKING: President Trump has left the White House on Marine One on an unannounced trip, White House has not disclosed his destination.

interesting pair of articles from nyt and wapo arguing that gorsuch may not be that awful and that it may suit the Democrats better to focus on blocking someone like sessions:

The Post reported yesterday that Jeff Sessions not only helped plan Trump’s first week in office but also wanted Trump to go a lot farther — and is the “intellectual godfather” of some of the ugliest facets of Trumpism. If the Democrats are going to muster the will and political capital to tank a nominee and send the Trump administration a message, Sessions seems like a far better target.

What are the chances of the Dems blocking Sessions?

I agree
Gorsuch has some disagreeable ideologies, but Sessions is someone I would much rather have not in power

There's a chance.

Look at what's happening with Devos. Two Republicans have come out against her nomination.

The key? CALL YOUR SENATORS! I think we underestimate the importance of it. It's not to change their mind. It's so that they can tell the press with a straight face, "I had so many constituents call me opposing so-and-so." I mean, look at what Senator Murkowski said about why she's going to oppose Devos:

"I do not intend to vote on final passage to support Ms Devos to be secretary of Education," she said.

She added that the DeVos's nomination was a "personal" decisions and that her office had been flooded with calls from constituents opposing Trump's pick.

"I have heard from thousands, truly thousands, of Alaskans who shared their concerns," she said.

"I do not intend to vote on final passage to support Ms Devos to be secretary of Education," she said.

How do we do this? Here is a good, concise explanation on how to reach out to your representatives:

Especially if you have a Republican Senator or Representative for your home zip code, calling in could make all the difference. We only need a couple GOP Senators to flip over. That's it.
