Fauci is an admirable man. Much more admirable than all the military generals who quit instead of telling Americans the truth about the CiC. While I understand that their position requires them to not publicly undermine the authority of their leader, this presidential term has been an exercise in "what would you do if you were given an unlawful order?" and Mad dog, Kelly, and all the military brass (except Vindman and a few others) failed it. They quit, and they wrote books, but they never reported the CiC to his bosses, the American people.

There is a difference between what people describe themselves as and what they want. Who they are is in what they want, and most Americans want outcomes that sustainably achieved with left-leaning policies.
