If he produces and plays well while staying relatively healthy throughout the duration of the deal while continuing his chemistry with Purdy and helping play a visible part in Purdy continuing to get better and better. Then it’s well worth it. The price for proven wide receivers on the free agent market isn’t going to get any cheaper next offseason either.

He’ll play on his 5th year option for 14 million, too. if they traded him for a pick, they’d be missing out on their best route runner and the guy who stretches the field past 20 yards. All in all, it's not too bad if they look at it as 4 years +1 at 134 million. That's like 27 a year with 75 million guaranteed. So after two years into his extension, if he's playing like ***, they could move off of him.
