Just look at him. Look at those eyes. What do they say to you? One picture says so many words. You can tell he's scanning the field. Looking for wide receivers. Staying poised in the pocket. Those are the eyes of a winner. Those are the eyes of my quarterback. Get on board fellas, we're going for a ride.

Does Kap even know how to audible and do pre-snap reads?

Watching Killa Cam flourishing and ballin' out is bittersweet because Kap SHOULD be on the same level. Seems so long ago Kap was doing the Superman during the playoffs :smh:

I honestly feel bad for Kap and I hope he can turn things around for his career's sake.

imagine being this corporate, pencil-pushing square and trying to get involved with the team practices, which are closed to everyone but players and coaches. you roll up to the field only to have jim tell you "this is a men only practice" and have you escorted back to the facility.

remember, this guy used to have a role in the coaches booth until harbaugh kicked *** out

this is the type of **** that took place and infuriated that ******* nerd to the point where he started leaking **** and stirring **** up in the front office with his BFF Jed

there's a clip of baalke and harbaugh embracing last year after one of our tougher wins. i cant find the clip, but i vividly remember watching it and thinking "there's no way in hell these dudes hate each other as much as the leaks are suggesting".

ill see if i can find it.

As long as Gabbert gets the same O-line Kap's had to deal w/ 8 weeks, i'm good w/ the benching.

At this point the writing is on the wall Kap is gonna take the blame for this season and we'll be looking at another season of Jimmy T ruining whoever is QB next year

Not surprised by the benching at all. Writing was on the wall. EVERYONE saw it coming, and if you 're surprised by this you don't watch enough NFL. Pointless to be pissed by this move, it was going to happen.

Gabbert is not the answer, but it was the move to make. Whether its a tank job or not, Kap needed to sit down and really just get his head right. Look at dudes eyes every game, he looks like a kid holding back tears after every 3 and out. (every drive btw) Besides Kap sucks lol. He is not the future, regardless what this team achieved with Harbaugh. I credit a lot of that to a monster defense and also a great special teams (minus that Kyle Williams kid :smh: ) Just watch Kap and then turn the channel to a real QB its night and day. I can do without the jump passes and big runs. Save the jumping and running for the WRs.

in one game, the golden state warriors scored more points than the niners will score all season

benching kap is smart. whether it be for trade value or for his health, that offensive line was going to get him injured at some point. dude's been one of the most sacked QBs the past two years, why put his future in jeopardy when the season is over

my man moiety moiety coming through with all them gabbert gifs

Remember when Coach Harbaugh would slap at the QB's shoulder pads before the game starts to get them "ready"? Kap needs one of those for his LIFE desperately

Paarag is the one who told me about the Alex Smith to KC deal days before it happened

how many times did alex get benched? 3-4 times? benched in favor of JT O'Sullivan, Shaun Hill and Kap?  cant forget the "we want carr" fiasco.

Exactly. It isn't the first time this has happened. It just feels new because of recent success. It's a rebuild if it isn't clear already.

im not gonna be ignorant foot ball fan guy and say **** Kaep **** him he's a ***** and act all brand new when I was going HAM watching this ******* run wild on the packers.

Dude literally helped make the Niners the funnest team to watch for a while.

Flash in the pan? Sure. But so many football teams are.

Just goes to show you how nearly impossible to hold this job. Toughest job in America maybe even.

Besides we know who the real cancers are...and they are not men.

I miss Harbaugh he would've absorbed all of if not most of these cheap shots against the team. He really was pretty good at keeping everyone in tow.

Anyone down to get Harbaugh tattoos?
bro i stopped reading after you said toughest job in america.. after these guys get cut and released they have millions to sit on .. its not that hard b ..

The play on the goal line where they called a running play and the WR to the left was waving his hand and was wide open is reason enough to say Kaps time at QB is over. Unbelievable and untolerable. This is the NFL and you dont audible out of the run or at least take it upon yourself to just throw it out there???? Im all for following the coaches play call, but grow some balls man, for gods sake.

Demoralizing, especially living in STL and having to deal with my ex wife tell me how much my team sucks >: >: >: >: >: >:

And right after my son told me he likes the 49ers now and the Rams suck. :\ :\ :\ :\ :\ :\ :\ :\ Finally got him on the right track and the niners derail it (well, they tried to........i didnt let him watch the game and i didnt tell him that the Rams cleaned our clock, so maybe he will still be on my side, smdh)
Saw that play after the game my thoughts exactly. That's a play where u don't have to audible at all you stay in the run play called and you as a QB give the receiver the look right before the snap .

i think they'll likely try to get the ball out fast with gabbert behind center. more 1 step and 3 step drop throws.
Seriously frustrated at the play calling this year with the long drop backs. And then on 3rd and long play action to hold the LB's when you have a total of 26 rushing yards.
