The College Basketball Post

This dude WIggins is so unimpressive relative to what he is supposed to be its insane. Don't think I've seen him create his own shots more than 5 times all season

Content to be just another guy out there on the court.
MKG part II ......reason I was livid when Charlotte drafted him.....now they're trying to shop him smh

i'll save this rant for the draft thread around may/june

I can't even blame Self 100%, every time I watch Wiggins, his teammates freeze him out

He's invisible half the time out there on offense. Has to do with the fact that his handle is still in development, Self's offense and his teammates just not having that confidence in him to take the ball and get buckets.

Yeah I don't like Ellis on this Kansas team, he is one too many post up mouth they have to feed, he isn't an impactful defender, he is a complete luxury, in fact Bill Selfs desire to have both Ellis and another big man post up constantly makes it difficult to imagine them winning it all. It just causes a spacing crunch that makes it them too easy to defend in the half court.

Honestly they would be better off without Ellis.

Without Embiid, the collective team defense is so bad. They can't defend the pick and roll to save their life.

1st Team Big 12 currently:

G Kane
G Staten
G Smart
F Ejim
C Embiid

2nd Team:
G Foster
G Hield
F Jefferson
F Wiggins
F Holmes

It's cool....the next time when Wiggins has a handful of one on none breakaway dunks, doesn't shoot 60% on his free throws and hits a few open catch and shoot 3 pointers and has 25 points all the usual suspects will come out the woodwork.

just tired of hyping guards that are athletic but don't even have a mid range........that athleticism gonna help you shine in hs and somewhat in college but you need more to be THAT guy on the next level

cause if you don't got it then your ceiling is a glue guy on a solid team a la tony allen .....which isn't a bad career but not worthy of the "next lebron" title

but I also know it's not wiggins fault he got this hype......I blame his fellow canadians who'll **** ride anything coming outta that soft *** country

This is what was said at the beginning of the year when you could see blatantly see it his game.. and people were up in arms to put those down who stated the obvious

Kansas State should just walk off the court now. They don't deserve to win this

Kansas deserves some credit, but this has to be one of the bigger choke jobs

this is more about me still pissed we drafted MKG more than it is about wiggins :rollin

I love MKG, still love him as an nba player, you need to chill, other than Lillard and Drummond, nobody has really distinguished themselves any ways.

When he hits fa he'll go to an established team and flourish as a role player...he's not a top 3 option on a nba team

Took Gerald Wallace till 23 to find his path, so just chill. you don't know that.
Meh, Crash just didn't get any playing time in his first three years. With MKG, he plays every night and you can clearly see in his game he isn't built to be a anything more than a glue guy. Nothing wrong with glue guys though.

I don't get why some of you defend Wiggins so much.

Yeah he's very athletic and talented. Plus he's young so has a lot of time to develop.

But... he hasn't done anything this year to make me and a lot of other people think that he will be a superstar Bron/Durant/George type player.

I just don't see it...or at least not yet.

I'm really not impressed with Bill Self, watching him closely. Don't know why Kansas doesn't press more, have no idea why they have guys posting up adjacently on the block, other than getting the post sealed on the weak side, doesn't seem to have any action that consistently gets perimeter guys good shots.

good at managing the game, and a good defensive coach but overall not impressed.
