Everytime I want to do a recap this thread falls off the front page and I forget.

I went the weekend of 8/12-8/14 and stayed at Planet Hollywood Towers (Westgate)

First the room:

- $20 trick kind of worked, couldn't bump us to a 2 bedroom suite, however he did find us a suite that was near the elevator and my goofy friend was pestering the clerk "As high as possible".  Felt like slapping him upside the head.
- He hooked us up despite the limitations, being near the elevators is something I learned the hard way...Venetian

.
- Rooms was really nice and spacious.  Plenty of room for three people and the view was nice.
- One of my concerns was the walk from the strip to the room, but it wasn't too bad, got real familiar with the MM shops and route to the room by the end of the trip.
- Would definitely stay there again, one major knock is that reception is horrible (AT&T).  Hard to contact folks, and everytime I would come down from the room my phone went off like a slot machine with all the texts I received in bulk.

Eats:
- Ate at Earl of Sandwich's, the BLT was the business.
- Ate at Wicked Spoon buffet at Cosmo.  Definitely the best buffet I've been to.  Then again, not really a connoisseur of buffets.
- Friday night we hung out with some locals that took us to this all you can eat Sushi joint off the strip.  I don't even like sushi but I killed some beef/chicken skewers and Cali Rolls.  My face was numb and my taste buds weren't functioning after killing a bottle of Jameson so not a damn was given

Gambling
- Had a $300 roll at the craps tables in Aria.  It was all downhill from there.
- Got my %** handed to me in Black Jack all weekend.  Including on the drive back, stopped at State Line.  Pushed twice when I had 21, and several times when I had 19/20.  That type of weekend.

Clubs
- Connect didn't come through on both nights to get into Marquee.
- Shouldn't blame it all on the connect, got on the guest list for Friday but we showed up to late and the wait was 2 hours
sick.gif
.  We bounced, gambled a little and ended up at Gallery (Planet Hollywood).  It was actually pretty good until they announced "The Situation"
laugh.gif
, they played the Enrique Iglesias song with "Here's the Situation" lyrics over and over again.  That's all I remember.
- Went back to Marquee on Saturday, Dash Berlin was playing, again missed the guest list.  This time we waited since we had the company of 8 females.  It was 4 dudes, so guy to girl ratio was on point, and it ended up backfiring (more on that later).  They were on point with the exception of one water buffalo and three fairly average girls, two carrying more lb's than they should.
-  Luckily one of my friends was already hammered off Hennessy and he jumped on the water buffalo with a quickness.
- Good time was had, cover was $50 (Due to Dash Berlin *shrug*).  I like house, but sometimes if you are not on E it gets redundant after 45 minutes...I don't care who is spinning.  So we sought out the Boombox room.  Music was on point, DJ was on point but the place was hell on Earth.  First of all, the person that said that's where black females hang out...how can you tell?  Lighting was #!$@@#, I mean, I expect it to be dark but it was dark.  It was packed and it was hot.  Whatever happened to being a proud wall flower?  Dudes posting up in the middle of the dance floor hoping to get some second hand grinding.
- Danced with this girl for about 45 minutes.  I admit I've been slacking on cardio, and it may not be up to par, but man I felt like I was going to pass out.  !%@!*@+ Sauna.
-Bounced from Marquee when it closed, 8 girls in tow, my dude with the water buffalo sealed the deal but her friends were rooster blocking something serious.  We tried to get them back to the suite since we still had a bottle of Kettle One and some Bacardi 151 to polish off.  The friends we connected with were all in, the four that didn't get no love, weren't having it: "My feet hurt", "I'm tired", "I got hammered yesterday", "We have to drive home early tomorrow".  First time in my life, I said to myself: "Having too many girls and not enough guys is a problem".
-  That was the end of the night, homie smashed in the suite, while the rooster blocked dudes got handed L's at the craps tables.

Just looking at the Venetian is exhausting enough. That place looks like it goes on forever. On a similar note, I remember being in Mandalay Bay last summer for MAGIC and all I could think of "does this place ever end?"

Just got back from Vegas yesterday, it was a great time for my first time.
Went from the 20th-23rd.

Missed our flight to Vegas, was on standby for the next flight over and ended up seeing Andrew Jenks (World of Jenks) filming at SFO. Stayed at the PH Towers, we had two rooms, a 2 bedroom suite and a 1 bedroom suite that were across the hallway from each other. First night, Saturday night was pretty hectic. We ended up going to Marquee and the lines were just horrible. We were on the second floor and they told us to go to the third floor and after about an hour, finally got in. Paid a $45 dollar cover and stayed on one floor. Didn't bother going to the other floors of the club and just left like one hour in. First day itself was awful for all of us, a lot of frustration and people arguing amongst one another. Then went to get some hot dogs at Pink's, which was pretty good.

Sunday, ended up going to Wicked Spoon in the Cosmo for brunch. $37 plus tax for buffet and so called bottemless mimosas, champagne, bloody mary's (first time having it and not something I had the taste for), although we ended up only getting like 8 or 9 mimosas before the waiter decided to give us last call and the food was alright. After, gambled at The Cosmo and ended up winning $100 on roulette. Not really much of a gambler but decided to gamble that day. Went to XS that night and I must say that club is really nice and has a whole lot of space. $20 dollar cover charge for the guy's and girls were able to get 2 free drink cards. Fun night, went to Terrible's Casino after for some steak & eggs and called it a night after that.

Monday, most of our friends left. A group of 19 (6 guys, 13 girls) ended up being only about 11 total. For lunch, ate at Planet Dailies, which was alright. After, we went to MGM and gambled some more. Friend of mine ended up winning $300 from $5 at the penny slots. Went to Aria after to get complimentary snacks and then back to the hotel to get ready. Headed back to XS, got in for free that night. Steve Aoki was DJ'ing for the night. Ended up being the best night, don't really go to events that aren't hip-hop based, so this was a new experience for me. Me and friends ended up getting sprayed with Dom Perignon at the end of the night to top it off.

Overall, great experience for my first time. Can't wait to head back out there again soon.

ive been to nikki beach in st tropez, marbella, south beach, and cabo........cabo one is just part of a hotel and more of a spring break crowd but the other 3 are proper stand alone establishments

those >>>>> rehab IMO....rehab when ive gone is all ugly trashy sluts with too many tattoos and a bunch of dbag dudes......also just way too big/crowded

hopefully nikki beach LV attracts a more normal crowd, but then again it is vegas so thats unlikely...

apparently rehab used to be amazing a few yrs ago but since ive been 21 its been wack every time

anyone whos been to the nikki beach LV care to chime in?

Gameworks/World of Coke/M&M world. TI Siren show (though it's a little sexy, still free!) Serendipity for sure. Where are you staying? Some of the pools are better for kids than others.
