Trump bears absolutely zero responsibility here because the DOJ is independent, bla bla bla
You say Trump appointed someone stuck in pre-1968 views who was obviously going to do this? Whoops I suddenly can't hear or see, remember DOJ is independent and has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with Trump
Just getting dwalk31 dwalk31 's excuses out of the way already

dwalk31 dwalk31 , you need to drop your endorsement of this administration right now, after Barr just said what he said man. Slavery? Really? Even Micheal Steele just called it DUMB $&&, then is calling for the right to vote this orange cheeto out.

I don’t rock with Barr, period. Completely senseless comparison.

I didn’t rock with him even prior to these outrageous comments.

Most of these clowns are either 70 years old or morbidly obese. Well organized militia my ***. You can practically smell the b.o. and marlboro smoke through the picture.

Dude with the ****in wooden shield.

I just can't take these fragile *** cosplay dudes seriously. 🤡🤡🤡🤡

Thats why they're so pro-guns. I'm not against guns by any means but in a perfect world all you'd need is a hand gun in the crib to protect your fam. Assault weapons are defended with the "We need high grade weapons in case the government wants to control us." Yet, that's obviously false and they want these crazy rifles and whatnot because they know they're not winning a hand to hand combat if **** hits the fan in this country. Their only chance of survival is shooting aimlessly at anyone they see

Damn, a head shake. That it a strong rebuke for you, before you know it Barr might earn himself a sigh. :rolleyes

I’ve been consistent in my stance against Barr and the problematic nature of the DOJ.

These outrageous comments are more evidence of why I have the stance I have.

Let go of your damn pearls. People are mocking you and pointing out how ridiculous your arguments are because your earned it.

You support William Barr where it really matters, the ballot.

Consistent how? Anyone with a functioning brain knew in 2016 that if Trump won, he was going to nominate an AG stuck in the 90's or further backwards 'tough on crime' mindset. In 2016 his campaign had zero criminal justice reform commitments (the opposite actually), and he identified his campaign's identity as 'tough on crime.'
Criminal justice reform had zero role in Trump's campaign so it would have been impossible for criminal justice reform to be a factor for you in 2016, after all the only candidate talking about and offering a criminal justice reform plan was Hillary.

In Sessions' case he picked an AG who is still a huge supporter of the war on drugs, mass incarceration, private prisons, and his only complaint about the 90s crime bill would've been that it wasn't tough enough. One of the first things Sessions did at DOJ was to reverse DOJ policies aimed at decreasing mass incarceration and instead demanded maximum penalties, including triggering mandatory minimums, for every (non-violent) drug offender case. That sentencing policy is still in effect under Barr.
Barr grants special treatment to Roger Stone because he got a guideline sentence recommendation in accordance with Barr's own sentencing policy. DOJ admitted in court that the original sentencing recommendation was a guideline sentence. Yet Barr was supposedly outraged how excessive this guideline sentence was and and intervened for solely this one defendant who happens to have committed 7 felonies to protect Trump. Then he went back to demanding his prosecutors to seek the absolute maximum penalty possible for everyone else.

He also regularly attacks prosecutors for not always seeking maximum penalties against defendants. He has repeatedly emphasized he expects his prosecutors to "throw the book at any defendant", which is after all what his sentencing policy demands.

Help get da’ mudda outta’ there then! Trump isn’t gonna do it while he’s in power.

Patriotic education really sounds eerily similar to indoctrination

Hitler believed that children needed to be raised in National Socialism in order to continue being loyal to the Nazi state after their education. Therefore, once Hitler rose to power in Nazi Germany in 1933, he began to make immediate changes to the education system. The Nazi state changed the curriculum taught in primary and secondary schools to reflect National Socialism.
