It's funny because republicans were calling for NPR to be defunded last week after they called the Hunter Biden story a waste of time. Seems like they are doing a good job in pissing both sides off.
I've come to find their coverage lacking in insight. Speaking of that particular story, there were plenty of opportunities to challenge those views because we already know how certain demographics are going to respond. You can't just let it slide when somebody says that covid is no big deal and 5 minutes before you reported that there were 500k new cases in the last week. You can't let it slide when somebody who was literally born in a business can say with a straight face that poor people born in places they don't even own have had the same opportunities as everybody else.

When will NPR journalists stop being scared of probing those folks to unearth a moment worth listening to? They know they're ignorant; why are they scared of exposing that?
