I started having basketball withdrawals a week after the season ended when there was nothing on tv but baseball

I hate to say it but it really looks like there won't be any NBA this year.

Can someone breakdown how BRI affects a player's guaranteed contract?

As far as I know, rollbacks of existing salaries will not be included in any new CBA, that's why there's the discussion of amnesty clauses so a team can remove a big contract from counting fully against the cap.
