Correct. I have zero understanding of those super hard, complex concepts. But it is a good thing brilliant people like yourself understand those things. Numbers hard.
That said, I simply responded to the poster’s question. That is the reason that people would not believe the Dems will win all 3.
If they do, there’s no problem—right? Everyone wants similar legislation to get passed.

I base my entire approach on anecdotal evidence (the sense/feeling I get when I talk to people across the country from both sides of the aisle).

This doesn’t negate anything that I asked earlier.
My question is whether black Americans can depend on the Democratic Party the same way that the Democratic Party has been able to depend on black voters. Republicans barely get 10% of the black vote. That’s why the conversation is directed to the party that can depend on black voters. If Republicans were getting 90%+ of black votes, for decades, then this would be an entirely different discussion.

Can't you see that helping the GOP never have to worry about the black vote hurting them at the polls, is the perfect way to get leverage over them?
It is such an asinine premise that anyone that gave it a few seconds of thought should realize it is bull****.
Could you imagine if someone suggested that everyone at Winterfell just surrender and join the Night King's army, help him sack King's Landing, and take over Westeros; so in turn that will give the North leverage to make him pass the Second Snow Act, and increase HBCU funding so the Unsullied and Dothraki can get job retraining.

The leverage I mention is over the Dems, not the GOP. Perhaps if you look at it from that angle you can understand the logic.

Because the party who has been able to depend on black voters, would have to do more for black voters—specifically—to maintain that support.

Im saying that if she shows Rusty that he can’t depend on her to stay without a shift in his behavior, it could yield positive results for her.

So I stumbled on this conversation between two black conservatives. I’ve agreed with the host on a few issues and I decided to give it a listen. It’s so weird how much common ground there is but then some of the conclusions they draw are making want to punch my self in the face. They go as far as to talk about the “uncle toms” like Candace Owens and blexit and How it’s terrible outreach. They then say that if you’re a black person running as a Republican at the local level, good luck trying to get any support from the Republican Party at any level. They would rather let demons run unopposed. But then says “they’re not racist though”
It’s funny because They try to separate themselves as from the other Republicans, but they’re still sipping the partisan Koolaid to an extent because especially at the local level, in black communities, if they Ran as conservative Dems, they’d win elections and actually be able to help the people they say they want to help.

Yea, this hypothetical shows that you’re being purposefully obtuse or you don’t get the situation. She wouldn’t be leaving for a guy who cheats too. It would be leaving for the other guy who doesn’t think that a woman should have control of her body, is best friends with a terrible man who brags about sexually assaulting woman, won’t change any behavior to actually show that he gives a **** about you, and has told you that y’all aren’t going steady (word to Rocko) and he doesn’t want to be with you. But every once in a while, he’ll by her some new Red Bottoms just to keep her feeling like this is worth her time. Now, if she was still willing to leave considering all of those factors? Yea, she wouldn’t have any leverage.
